Summary

What really made this dish special was the Seeds of Change Seven Whole Grains. This is a pouch with some sort of precooked, preseasoned whole grains mixture in it. The pouch can be used on its own, and is ready to eat in 90 seconds. The taste is great, and it really added a nice touch to the chiles rellenos. This meal was filling and satisfying, and just downright yummy.

It was also easy to make. The only issue we had was my fault. I should have roasted the poblano peppers for another 5 minutes or so, but I was tired and ready to eat. If they had been roasted just a touch more, this dish probably would have gotten 5 stars for flavor.

Definitely a winner!

Tip

Glance through the recipe instructions before you begin. Some recipes ask you to chop veggies in the middle of the process, usually while something else is cooking on the stove. I recommend ignoring those instructions. Instead, prep all your veggies before you do anything else. (You can preheat your oven during this time). If you are anything like me, trying to chop vegetables while watching over the cooking process will usually end up with overcooked or burned food, or even knicked fingers.
