Or if nothing else, the ideology likely exists perhaps in other names, in broader ways. Your ideas are excellent. Unfortunately, changes that large can’t happen in this atmosphere. It’s so depressing to see what is happening.

I really wonder if this is the underlying causes of the widening gap in the USA though. It seems to me like this remains a very fringe organization.

Personally, I gave up on the USA and left for Germany five years ago. One of the things I notice in Germany is that there are many different political parties, and pretty much all of them are reasonable except for one, the AfD, (Alternative for Germany), which gets only about 5-15% of the vote generally. None of the other parties will form a coalition with them. Having multiple political parties helps to reduce the black vs white, us vs. them, type mentality that seems so pervasive in the United States. So that is my solution – rewrite the constitution to allow for multiple parties and coalition governments, and put term limits on supreme court justices – in Germany, supreme court services serve only one 12-year term, which is still long enough to not be influenced so much by politics, but it also means that choosing a supreme court justice is not such a big decision.
